Founded in 2001, RomSoft SRL is a software development company headquartered in Iasi, Romania.
From the very beginning, our interest has been mainly focused on healthcare informatics areas like m-Health, telemedicine or e-health. Our services range from designing WAM (Work Area Management) solutions for small to medium laboratory environments, to offering consultancy services for software development start-ups and not only.
Research Activity
The most important development in our activity within the last year has been in the area of e-Health research projects.
We took interest in the research, design, and implementation of scalable systems with electronic, informational and telecommunication components, that allow automated tele-monitoring, anytime and anywhere (at home, in the hospital/asylum, or at work of mobile subjects, by using various means of communication), in real time, for chronically ill persons, elder subjects, subjects with increased medical risk or with neurological and locomotor disabilities.
Another important part of our research work takes place in the FP7 framework, in projects that carry an impact on various social levels, such as improving assistance and support for people suffering from chronic diseases like diabetes.
Certifications
As a reward for our efforts in the research field, on December 4th 2008, RomSoft was granted the "Certification for Scientific Development and Research", in conformity with Decision No. 9816 issued on 12/04/2008 by NASR (National Authority for Scientific Research).
Additionally, the RomSoft Quality Management System is ISO 9001 certified by Moody International since November 2004. Also, Q-Zert GmbH Germany awarded our company with the TGA-DAR accreditation.
